Born out of a heart to help those in need, we began seeking out opportunities to feed. From 2010 to 2014, our front-line teams from four churches and backstage donors fed from 155 to 220 meals to families every Saturday at the Mount Vernon Baptist Church. In 2018, we joined a local street ministry, Hands & Feet, and fed 300 homeless and needy in Vicksburg MS. In 2019, we fed 250 at The Table, an anonymous group from all over the city in Conway AR with the intent of inviting fellowship and unity in our "Jerusalem." In May 2020, as we joined the USDA's Farmers to Families charity, we fed 1,000 nurses at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock. In June 2020, we fed 140 nurses at Baptist Health Center in Conway. Since June 2020 and to date, August 2020, I Feel The Need has handed out USDA boxed fresh dairy and produce to over 7,000 families in Faulkner County Arkansas alone.
As a Faulkner County Arkansas public charity feeding ministry and a food broker partnering with the USDA and other food industries, we strive to bring as much food to Faulkner County and surrounding areas as often as possible. Our mission is to feel the need, find the food and marry the two.
